Dinner at the James' House

Saturday evening Helen James hosted a dinner at her home in Le Visenet, France.

So many wonderful friends came to enjoy the evening and visit. Penny, Catriona, Destiny, Patti and Kristie. I worked with Penny at The British School and I worked at the Mission Lunch with the other wonderful gals.

We dined on fresh fish! A beautiful, bountiful platter of all sorts of fish was a delicious starter. Then, we had an absolutely delicious poached salmon with vegetables and bread.

We celebrated Robert's birthday with no less than three cakes! Then, Robert sang for us. He has such a beautiful, deep voice. My favorite song was from the Pirates of Penzance.

It was a wonderful time. I hated to leave but I rejoice that I have such wonderful friends in Europe.
