New York City - April 2008

Sheila and I visited Jon and Michelle for a few days in April. I drove there and thank goodness for a good GPS (thanks, Howard). We did not have any problem driving along and navigating on the streets of New York.

Once we arrived, the gentlemen working on the street helped me to parallel park....people were very friendly and the scenery was beautiful.

Anyway, we took buses and traveled to tourists sites. When we were tired of walking, we took more buses or taxi's.

We ate in lovely restaurants, met wonderful people, took a carriage ride through Central Park, had our picture taken with David Hyde Pierce and just enjoyed the beautiful city....here's to another trip to NYC!

We had a lovely horse and buggy ride through Central Park. We oooed and ahhhed at the beautiful sites and were dazzled by the stories Antonio, our driver, shared with us. The ride was over an hour and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Our first night out we walked around Times Square and Columbus Circle. We found our way around the city without any problems....who would have guessed?

We really enjoyed our tour of Radio City Music Hall. We learned all the 'ins and outs' and the little 'secrets' that make up this rather large building. But, our most impressive fact happened when we learned the Rockettes are available to take pictures with the guests. How fun was that!

We loved our lunch at Becco's Restaurant. It is a fabulous feast whenever you visit this restaurant!

We saw the play Curtains. It is a mystery/comedy starring David Hyde Pierce. We laughed and enjoyed the performance. Then, afterwards, Sheila and I posed for pictures with David Hyde Pierce! He was very pleasant and waited until everyone had their autographs and photos.

Typical tourists!!
