Paul and Aubrey - Cathedrale du Notre Dame

Here is the square of the beautiful Cathedrale du Notre Dame. Paul, Aubrey, Howard and I visited the Cathedrale together.
On this particular Sunday (dimache) afternoon, there was a large group of people waiting to enter the Cathedrale doors and listen to an organ concert. We were four of the lucky ones who actually were able to find seats!

Sights around London
Statute of Boadicea, Queen of the Iceni. The story goes...together with her daughters, she lead her people against Roman invaders. My kind of woman! What a beautiful day to see the London-Eye Ferris. The "eye" was built in 2000 to celebrate the millennium.
Big Ben looks like a clock, but it is actually the bell that tolls on the hour! How interesting!

London Theatre
I love London Theatre! It is very exciting. This visit, we saw Monty Python's Spamalot. The play is witty! We laughed through the whole play.I have seen a couple of plays in London and at the end of every production, after the last curtain call, the cast and the audience sing together or the cast sings and dances around the stage. Each time it has been an enjoyable experience.

Notre Dame and the picturesque Seine River
There is much history to be seen in the magnificant Notre-Dame! Both the exterior and the interior of the building itself are beautifully built. Howard took this picture of the Seine River while standig on the side of Notre-Dame. There are many cafes, shops, vendors and restaurants along this area. It is a lovely area to walk around in and to gaze at the beauty of Paris!
Musee D'Orsay

The Orsay Museusm
this Museusm used to be a former train station, now it houses magnificant paintings! We loved especially loved the Impressionists. The paintings made us feel just like we were a part of that scene. Paintings were rich with bold and bright colors....
even in the evening, on the batobus, the Orsay is a beautiful sight to see...
