For the last two years, the expressway beside the Seine River has been closed down in August make way for the Plage (beach). The city brings in sand, sets up food kiosks, and schedules many talented artists to provide entertainment for the Parisians who do not leave the city for vacance in August.

We enjoy our new city!

We visited Bayeaux Cathedral in August. The Cathedral is the center of the town and it is as beautiful as it seems in this picture. It is a very serene place to spend some time.
